Meet SDMP's Music Teacher
I’m Mrs. Audrey Fatany, founder and lead instructor of Sing Dance Move Play Music for Everyone. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University and hold Texas certifications in Music Education EC–12 and Special Education. After five years as an elementary music educator—and experience providing one-on-one instruction since 2018—I founded SDMP to offer families a more personal and purposeful approach to music education.
My own musical journey began at age 10 with the clarinet. Through years of study and teaching, I have developed experience across a wide range of instruments, musical concepts, and instructional approaches. Most importantly, I have learned that no two students experience music in exactly the same way.
At SDMP, each student receives an Individualized Music Plan designed around their interests, strengths, learning style, and personal goals. Lessons may include singing, movement, rhythm, instrumental exploration, music literacy, creative expression, and focused instruction on instruments such as piano, ukulele, recorder, or clarinet.
My background in both music and special education allows me to create lessons that are structured, engaging, and responsive to each learner. Students are encouraged to build strong musical skills while also developing confidence, creativity, independence, and a lifelong connection with music.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, reading, spending time with my husband, and sharing life with our dog, Fiona. It is a privilege to partner with families and create a musical experience in which every student feels known, supported, and inspired.
SDMP Musical Services
Personalized Music Education
Each Individualized Music Plan is designed around your child’s interests, strengths, learning needs, and goals. Lessons may include singing, movement, rhythm, music literacy, creative exploration, and instrument instruction—evolving with your child to keep learning purposeful and engaging.
One-on-One Music Instruction
With certifications in Music and Special Education, Mrs. Audrey adapts each lesson to support the whole child—creating an encouraging environment where every student can grow with confidence.
Lesson Options
Individual Music Lesson — $60 Engaging instruction tailored to the student’s interests and musical goals. Adapted Music Lesson — $75 Specialized instruction with additional accommodations tailored to the student’s learning and developmental needs.
